We will leave in direction of the Serranía de Ronda, a rugged and mountainous landscape, where bare rocks contrast with lush slopes. On this excursion, we will explore the Genal Valley and some of its 15 picturesque villages. Depending on the meeting point, we will start the tour with a visit to the Birth of the Genal River.

Cute little white villages among the hills…
Then the day will follow: walks through the narrow streets of white villages with names as suggestive as Igualeja, Cartajima, Faraján or Alpendeire; the visit of a museum house where the furniture of yesteryear is preserved or a brief march in the limestone mountain range of the Oreganal and its curious karst formations. The different stops will allow you to observe the landscapes and discover the relationship between the inhabitants and nature.
… and the Mediterranean forest
We will find a Mediterranean vegetation full of aromatic plants sheltered between chestnuts and cork oaks … We will be surprised by the diversity of flowers of the well-preserved pastures of the Hermitages. There will be the possibility of observing the flight of dragonflies on the riverbank; learn about the traditional production of honey in a village with tradition of beekeeping ; or make a stop at an ecological farm and meet some mountain peasants; and, if time allows, to reach the museum village of Genalguacil and enjoy its contemporary art displayed in the street.
Travel through the Genal … Adopt the leisurely pace of domestic animals, transport yourself to rural life that is still alive in isolated corners and connect with nature on a beautiful excursion outside the classic tourist circuit.
