Options for a varied circuit
Many options to choose from and a complete ecotourism circuit for all tastes. We will complete our day with the almost obligatory passage of the Port del Boyar and its beautiful panoramic view, from where to observe the geographical feature Salto del Cabrero as well as the Sierra del Pinar.
Town of Grazalema
We will visit the village of Grazalema to get to know its square and white streets, interpret the landscape and fauna from its viewpoints and become familiar with the Spanish fir.
Routes and viewpoints
We will be able to choose between several hiking routes, we recommend a short walk on the Majaceite riverbank (5 km, D+200m) where water is the main protagonist. Dragonflies, blackbirds and butterflies are alive in the stream.
Botanical Garden in El Bosque
After stops at different viewpoints and interpretation of the landscapes, we will continue our way to the neighboring village of El Bosque and visit the beautiful Botanical Garden of El Castillejo, suitable for all travelers, and above all endowed with a large collection of Mediterranean plants.
Ecotourism for Families
For families and groups interested in traditional activities, the water museum awaits us in Benahoma and then we will stop in El Bosque to taste the famous payoyo cheese in one of the best cheese factories in Spain.

The “plus”. One third of the 150 species of orchids in the Iberian Peninsula (Spain and Portugal) are present in the calcareous and humid grasslands of the natural park. The Sierra is recognized as a hot spot for this plant group and the rest of the bulbs.
