From one day of activity

Private groups

A route that requires effort

All in all, we have put together an exceptional tour that leaves indelible memories.

A day for promotion

We will start the route in the recreational area Los Quejigales, before entering a mountain range without fountains or other shelters. The variants allow us to adjust the final effort of the day. We will quickly enter the most beautiful existing pinsapar with an abundance of forest birds.

All altitudinal levels

The route offers an impressive mountain scenery, crossing the different plant communities varying with altitude, ancient forests of Spanish firs and gall oaks. The route is especially didactic.

Mountain culture

Several rural constructions such as snow wells and fountains take us back to ancient times. The vegetation has been deeply shaped by the hand of man, the result of the culture of cattle ranching. Fortunately, the pinsapos have survived intensive logging.

Difficulties of the route

The climb to Torrecilla is of moderate to medium difficulty (900 meters elevation gain in about 16 km). The first part of the ascent is hard, followed by a flatter section before facing the final steep climb to the peak. In winter or with snow, the level of difficulty increases considerably.

Tour variants and options
  • Professional guide specialized in nature
  • Accident insurance

The Trek combines with a visit to the city of Ronda. Includes gentle gymnastics exercises.

Program for a complete trek to complete Sierra de las Nieves

The Serranía de Ronda is undoubtedly the area of greatest interest for hiking in the province of Malaga. The GR 141 Gran Senda de La Serranía proposes a route of 110 kilometers to be done in 6 very physical stages with significant slopes and long walking times. From G3-Nature Guides, we propose a lighter alternative with simple excursions to walk about five hours a day and that allows us to have time to enjoy the scenery, discover the main ecosystems of the park and observe the fauna and flora. We have also included the possibility of climbing the Sierra de las Nieves.

The treks last from two to seven days, all on foot on trails and roads. We recommend staying in rural houses and rural hotels.
