Data from the fourth national enquiry – period 2014-2015 – show the best results to date, with 92.5 of the 10×10 UTM squares sampled positive, i.e. with species detection. The situation is analyzed by ecological sector. We can affirm that the otter is today a common species in the province of Cordoba, in particular in the Sierra Morena, which constitutes its historical bastion, and the river Guadalquivir, colonized since the years 90. A colonization of the rivers of La Campiña and Las Subbéticas has taken place over the past two decades.

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section][et_pb_section fb_built=”1″ _builder_version=”4.4.8″][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.4.8″][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.4.8″][et_pb_image src=”https://g3-guides.com///wp-content/uploads/2019/12/0002-e1605008019683.jpg” alt=”Otter (Lutra lutra), a mammal in Andalusia.
